Another picture I took from last week’s vrt news edition on the WHO claiming sound can be dangerous, was about a division for premature births in a Belgian hospital. The noise from many babies crying for attention can be so loud, that they even put a sound alarm in place, to warn the nurses when the sound levels are getting too high for the other babies to be able to sleep. Since sleep is a very important factor for a successful therapy, they need a warning when the quiet sleep of the premature babies is in danger.
