No microphone needed at BluePoint in Brussels

Wednesday afternoon, I represented one of my companies on stage. It was a small group of about fourty people in a brand new event space in the BluePoint building of Agoria in Brussels (Belgium, Europe). Cool space. The right furniture. Bright colors. High tech infrastructure. And … pretty good acoustics. The curtains around the speaker ensure the room is nicely quiet. And when you need a side-kick in a separate room, they also have pretty good acoustics. When I was on stage, just before Rik Riezebos (shown on the picture), I did not have the use a mic for that group of 40 people. In some event spaces, even for a small group of 40 you need a mic. In most troublesome places that is because the echo makes the room very noisy. In BluePoint there was no issue at all.

We’ll be back there for sure.
